Being a legend comes naturaly to some

If over 30 years ago you and of a group of friends invented one of the fastest growing sports in the world (Mountain Biking) you could be quite happy that your life had had an impact on the world for the better. If you were the person responsible for identifying and assembling the components required to perform that sport (The Mountain Bike) and the first to bring it to market you could be similarly pleased. If you dedicated over 30 years of you life to all aspects of a sport the same could be said. Garry Fisher has done all these and more, so putting him in the sporting legend status.

However, sometimes it's the small things a legend does that are really cool. I read this article the other day and it impressed me. Garry donated a $3000 bike he had bought to haul his kids around to a local guy to do the same. The only condition was that the guy must do the same when he had finished hauling his kids about and donate it to another parent. This is a man who usually acts globally on initiatives but is still connected to his local scene and so acts on a personal level also.

All I can say is thank you and keep up the good work Mr Fisher.
